Catherine Millet is editor of the magazine Art press which she founded in 1972. She curated the French section of the 1989 Sao Paulo Biennale and the French Pavilion at the 1995 Venice Biennale. She is the author of numerous books on art, notably L'Art contemporain (1997) and Dali et Moi (2005). In 2001 she published her memoir The Sexual Life of Catherine M. which sold 650 000 copies in France and became an international best-seller. She lives in Paris.
